The village hall is licensed to accommodate 160 people excluding staff, attendants and performers. The main hall will accommodate between 60 and 100 if seated at tables, depending of course on how they are arranged.
There is a small kitchen with cooker, microwave and fridge. Tables, chairs and crockery can be hired.
Hire charges
Anstey residents: £8 per hour
Other hirers: £12 per hour
Access for setting up on the evening before bookings may be arranged for an extra payment.
Reductions may be available for block bookings. Please enquire.
All charges are based on the assumption that the hirer will clean up after the booking!

East Herts Lottery for Anstey Village Hall
East Herts Lottery is a weekly online lottery, where 60% of all funds raised goes to good causes that benefit the local community. Each ticket costs £1 per week and players can choose which cause to support, knowing that 50p in every pound will go to directly to that cause. The odds of winning any prize are 50:1 and the top prize is £25,000!

FOREVER ACTIVE EXERCISE CLASSES AT ANSTEY VILLAGE HALL
Please see the revised schedule below for times and fees for our classes, which are open to all age groups (NB some timings have changed):
There are weekly sessions as follows:
Wednesdays
Table Tennis – Wednesday – 9.30am – 11.00am – £3.00 per session
Carpet Bowls – 7.00pm – 9.00pm – £2.50 per session
Thursdays
Yoga – 9.30am – 10.45am – £6.00 per session
All classes – 1st session is free

QUIZ NIGHT – SATURDAY 29th MARCH 2025 – 7:00pm for 7:30pm start
On Saturday 29th March we will be holding our annual fundraising Quiz Night, with the inimitable Edward Burton (who’s certainly no April Fool!) putting the questions. Tickets are £10, which includes a light supper – pay on the door. Form your own team of 6 to 8, or join one on the night. ANSTEY ‘POP-UP’ FILM AND SOCIAL CLUB
Our next film date will be advertised via the Ansteylink village email. Doors open 7.30pm, film starts at 8.00. All members should receive an email flyer in advance, with details of the next film to be shown.
