THE RETURN OF ANSTEY FAIR!!!

Sunday 14th July 1-5pm, St George’s Church Fields, Anstey. SG9 0BY

We are very pleased to announce that the Anstey Fair is back and we look forward to welcoming you to our new venue behind St George’s Church! SG9 0BY or (https://w3w.co/tortoises.influencing.nobody)

In addition to the usual free parking, Tombola, children’s games, nearly new clothes, BBQ, licensed Bar and Teas, we have lots of new attractions which include:

Steam Train ride with 30m of track for £1

 

 

 

 

 

 

A dog show

  1. Cutest puppy (dogs under 1year)
  2. Best trick (all dogs)
  3. Prettiest bitch(all female dogs
  4. Most handsome dog (all male dogs)
  5. Best rescue(all rescue dogs)
  6. Best pedigree (all pedigree dogs)
  7. Best mixed breed (dogs of mixed breeds, not rescue or pedigree)
  8. Golden oldie (dogs over 8years old)
  9. Special dog (a dog that has or does something incredibly special to help others, or has overcome a lot)
  10. Best in show (all winners of each class)
Charge for entries –
If doing one class it will be £3
If entering more than one it would be reduced to £5 for 2, £10 for 4 etc.
if three – then £8


Two children’s competitions: ‘The Best Dressed Scarecrow’ and a ‘The Best Baker’

A guest appearance from some fantastic Wicket Brood Morris Dancers

Bee products including honey and candles

Affordable, hand crafted jewellery
Home and garden products made from recycled pallets
Cards and prints made from planet-friendly materials
Watercolour paintings with all proceeds going to the Khandel Light charity
Fused glass products
Wood-turned items
Pickles, mayos, savouries and cakes
Alpaca wool products
Nearly new clothes
Traditional Ukrainian produce
Plants
Local Police

 

Hopefully we will see you there.

You can also come along a try your hand at bell ringing in the church, and listen to live music from Sky West and the Bishop’s Stortford Ukulele Society.

Entry is £2.50 per adult, with no charge for children under 16 all proceeds will be divided between St George’s Church, Anstey Village Hall, Anstey School and Anstey Chapel.
